IAH 206 and Community Engagement at the MSU Museum

I am absolutely pleased to report that our IAH 206 event “Sustainability Issues in the Community and Beyond: Extinctions, Choices and Consequences” was an outstanding experience for students and Michigan community partners. The posters prepared by the students of sections 7-12 of IAH 206: Self, Society, Technology, are an expression of their experience with community partners and sustainability issues. For information on how this event was designed please read: Extinctions, Choices, and Consequences

The Center for Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities encourages and supports the design and development of IAH courses that include a component of community engagement. In IAH courses students and instructors are expected to participate in active learning through an engagement with community partners.

We are thankful to people and organizations that made this event a success
