IAH course receives the 2008 AT&T Award for Best Hybrid/Blended Course
A panel of MSU faculty facilitated by Dr. Carrie Heeter recently chose to honor the courses of two faculty members from the College of Arts and Letters as 'Best' in their respective categories in the AT&T Instructional Technology awards for 2008.
IAH 207 Literatures, Cultures, Identities, developed and designed by a team lead by Professor Steve Rachman (English) has won this award as Best in the Blended Course category.
2008 IAH Teaching Award Recipients Announced
After careful selection, revision of materials and deliberations, the CIS-AH Advisory committee recommended two IAH faculty for the 2008 Fintz Award and three teaching assistants for the 2008 Somers awards.
CISAH Acting Director receives the 2008 CLACS Outstanding Faculty Award
Rocio Quispe-Agnoli, Associate Professor of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and Acting Director of CIS-AH, has received one of the four 2008 Outstanding Faculty Awards by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Michigan State University. Professor Quispe-Agnoli has been awarded this recognition for her remarkable contributions to Latin American studies and her active and engaged role in the CLACS Advisory Committee. The recognition ceremony took place on April 16th, in the reception of the CLACS Undergraduate Conference in the International Center.
